Brownies, as promised

Do you like brownies? This is for you! Do you have family or friends who can’t eat gluten or dairy? This is for them too! Be fore-warned….they taste amazing and it is easy to keep going! 🙂

Knock-out Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 lg. eggs
  • 1/4 potato starch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Note: To make this dairy free, use melted coconut oil instead of butter. To avoid refined sugar, use coconut sugar or maple sugar.

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Whisk in cocoa powder
  3. Continue adding ingredients and blending in the order listed.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips, pour in a pan (8″ by 8″ or 11” by 7”)
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes til toothpick comes out clean.
  6. To serve cleanly, wait til cooled down somewhat to cut. (I know you want to eat them warm, right?)
